The Green Lots Project began in 2008 when a group of friends cleaned up two city lots on 104th Street and Wabash and turned them into a vibrant and productive annual gardens.

Over the years we have established several gardens, taught well over one thousand people about Indigenous Knowledge and permaculture techniques, and provided food and medicine for hundreds.

It is our desire to create and maintain a group of committed members who will serve as the leadership collective.

Seed Keepers Collective is just that, and will further the work of GLP and enhance our lives and those of our families and communities.  In addition, the SKC internship is designed to develop the land stewardship skills and Indigenous Knowledge of our members.  This IK will help us navigate the horrors of Wetiko, help us heal and become stronger, and create the sustainable world we wish to see.
